A note from our founder
My daughter spent two years in coding classes and couldn't tell me what a for-loop does. I write code for a living — so watching her come home without even a basic understanding of how problem solving works in tech, that one stung.
So I built what I wished existed. A place where kids actually understand what they're building and why. The day she told me “Mom, coding is fun now” — I knew this was bigger than our family.
Then my son needed help with math and reading. Same story — good classes, good teachers, but the understanding wasn't sticking. So I built that too.
Now our evenings aren't a rush between tutoring centers. We have time for the park, for sports, for just being a family. That's the real gift.
Lumora started as one mom's frustration. It's growing into something every family deserves — because learning should be fun, not a chore.
